San Francisco Renaissance Voices
"Feast for St. Valentine"
Todd Jolly, music director
with guest artist Sean Smith, lute

Journey back in time to attend a trial in
one of the famous
Courts of Love,
resplendent with troubadour songs and
airs de coeur.
After the judge renders her verdict,
this "Feast for St. Valentine"
concludes with Orlando di Lasso's parody mass,
Missa super 'Mon coeur se recommande a vous'
(Mass on 'My heart still longs for you')
based on his motet of the same name.

This acclaimed choir is a favorite of audiences throughout
the Bay Area for their impeccable performances of
music of Renaissance Europe.

"They've achieved a sound something akin to spiritual levitation"
(San Francisco Classical Voice)
